Media students have put together a DVD entitled Student Journeys.

Charles Heales from Cavendish and Daniel Newman from Great Cornard were asked to make a film about the journeys – both physical and emotional - that students undertake as part of their learning experience.

The seven minute DVD explores six student journeys. Some are literally journeys from other places in the world. Some are journeys of self-discovery and determination that students have embarked on when they had to cope with difficulties in their lives.

Students whose stories featured in the video included a young mum, someone who has Asperger’s Syndrome, a young girl from Sierra Leone and two women, from Peru and Columbia, who attend an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) class at the College.
