This qualification is designed for senior practitioners with a strategic training / HR role.  Candidates must fulfil work roles that enable them to address the requirements of the units in order to generate evidence for the compilation of a portfolio.

Course Content

Candidates have to complete 12 units in total.

The candidate is required to complete 7 mandatory units :

• Contribute to learning within the organisation
• Evaluate and develop own practice
• Develop a strategy and plan for learning and development
• Identify the learning and development needs of the organisation
• Respond to changes in learning and development
• Develop a strategy and plan for the promotion of equality and diversity
• Create a climate that promotes learning

PLUS either:

• Secure financial resources for your organisation's plans
• Manage the use of fine resources

PLUS 4 optional units:

• Design on learning programme
• Manage the contribution of other people to the learning process
• Manage the performance of individuals and teams
• Evaluate and improve organisation performance
• Design, deliver and evaluate changes to organisational structure
• Develop management teams
• Evaluate and improve learning and development programmes
