This programme is designed to address the needs of experienced trainers who wish to gain a nationally recognised qualification.   The NVQ4 in Co-ordination of Learning and Development is primarily aimed at those who deliver government funded training programmes.  Candidates should be in work, fulfilling a role which enables them to generate the evidence needed to compile a portfolio.

Course Content

Candidates have to complete 7 units, of which 6 are mandatory

Mandatory Units:

• Evaluate and develop own practice
• Identify individual learning aims and programmes
• Agree learning programmes with learner
• Design Learning programmes
• Agree leaning programme with learner
• Manage the contribution of other people to the learning process
• Evaluate and improve learning and development programmes

Optional units:

• Review Health and Safety procedures in the workplace
• Identify the learning and development need of the organisation
• Prepare and develop resources to support learning
• Create a climate that promotes learning
• Support and advise individual learners
• Monitor and review progress with learners
• Conduct internal quality assurance of the assessment process.
