C & G 2392 - 10 Fundamental Inspection, Testing & Initial Verification of Electrical Installations

Candidates will have the opportunity to enter for the City and Guilds 2392-10 examination. The qualification consists of 2 distinct components: a multiple choice examination and practical testing assessment. Successful completion of both components will result in the City and Guilds 2392-10 certificate.

Designed For

This course has been developed by City & Guilds to provide candidates with an introduction in how to inspect and test (conduct the initial verification) new electrical installations.

The course is intended for practising electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update training before going on to achieve the City & Guilds 2391-10 in inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations.

  • Candidates must have some basic previous experience of testing procedures.
  • Candidates must have a sound knowledge of BS 7671:2008 (IEE Regs.)
  • It is essential that all individuals accepted on the course have a good level of English, as they will be required to complete practical and multiple choice assessments for the examination
