C&G 2391 Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations

Please be aware that this qualification will be affected by the recent amendment to the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2008 (July 2011)). This information sheet will be updated as soon as we have further clarification from City & Guilds.

 

Certificate

The qualification consists of 2 distinct components: a written examination and practical testing assessment. Successful completion of both components will result in City and Guilds 2391 - 10 Certificate.

Milburn Centre, Anglian Lane, Bury St Edmunds

Cost

£695 (Inclusive of exam fees and a copy of Guidance note 3 Inspection and Testing, lunch and tea / coffee). A copy of the current edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations is essential for this course and must be purchased in advance.

Duration

Training = 4 Days
Written Exam = 2 ½ hours
Practical Assessment = ½ day

Designed for

The course is intended for personnel in electrical installation contracting companies who have responsibility for the inspection, testing and certification process. Those who already possess a 2391-01 qualification do not need to obtain 2391-10.

Candidates must have some experience of testing procedures.
It is essential that all individuals accepted on the course have a good level of English, as they will be required to complete practical and written assessments for the examination.
