Domestic Natural Gas Appliance Training and Assessment

Certification

Training can be provided for the following appliance assessments:

• Domestic Gas Fired Central Heating Boilers / Domestic Instantaneous Water Heating Appliances - CENWAT
• Domestic Gas Cooking Appliances - CKR1
• Domestic Open Balanced & Fan Assisted Gas Fires & Wall Heaters - HTR1
• Domestic Gas Warm Air Heaters - DAH1

As of 1 April 2011, NICEIC Certification are combining CEN1 & WAT1 to form CENWAT:
Anyone who holds CEN1 but not WAT1 must take CENWAT initial.
Anyone who holds WAT1 but not CEN1 must take CENWAT initial.
Anyone holding both CEN1 & WAT1 can take CENWAT re-assessment or initial.

Training: £175

Initial appliance assessments: £250 for one, or £375 for two.

Refresher appliance assessments: £160 for one, or £250 for two.

Appliance training covers the installation, exchange, disconnection, service, repair and commissioning of appliances. Training can be provided for the appliances listed above.
