'Although I am not myself managing or mentoring the apprentices (my Business Support Leads' are), I have received positive feedback on their progress. Those recruited have been keen to learn new skills and fitted well into teams, assisting with various administrative duties. Each apprentice receives a range of work experience to aid them in future employment together with the opportunity for an NVQ qualification at the end of their placement. With regards the recruitment process, the college has been very helpful at all stages.

'From intial enquiry through to application, interview and then recruitment it was a very smooth process with help on hand when needed.
We felt like we were always in control even though a majority of the work was being carried out by the College. You get to choose who you employ but our contact at the College was always there to assist with queries and offer advice and still is if needed, even after the Apprentices have been recruited.
We have also found it mutally beneficial, it is an ideal way to help young people develop their skills, education and career and it is also very good for the business because you get keen and enthusiastic people who want to lean and develop and will grow with the business.'
